Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Mamio is designed to keep your baby care data on your device. The app has no user accounts, no login system, and no way for us to identify you personally. Some parts of the free version use Google AdMob to show ads, and Google may collect advertising data (such as device identifiers and ad interaction data) for ad delivery, personalization, attribution, and reporting.
Data we collect
Mamio does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or account profile because the app does not use accounts or a login system.
The following advertising-related data may be collected by Google AdMob, not stored by Mamio:
- IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) on iOS, but only if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Ad impression and interaction data used by Google AdMob for ad serving, measurement, and reporting.
Mamio itself does not build user profiles or track you across other apps or services. Ad targeting and ad-related tracking are performed by Google AdMob on Google's infrastructure.
Data stored on your device
- Feeding sessions, durations, sides, and notes you enter.
- Daily and weekly summaries generated from your local data.
- Your local purchase status for Pro plan (ad-free experience is only available with Pro).
Advertising
Mamio uses Google AdMob to display banner ads for free users only. These ads appear on the History, Stats, and Settings screens. Pro plan users do not see ads.
Google AdMob may collect and use device identifiers, including the IDFA on iOS when permission is granted, to personalize ads and measure ad performance.
You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and manage your preferences in Google Ad Settings.
On iOS, you can also opt out of personalized ads or change your choice anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS, Mamio requests permission through Apple's system App Tracking Transparency prompt on first launch.
The permission message shown in the app is: "To show relevant ads that help support the free version of Mamio"
Permission is optional. If you deny tracking, you can still use Mamio and you will still receive ads in the free version, but they will be non-personalized.
You can change this choice anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Third-party services
Mamio uses the following third-party service:
- Google AdMob: Displays ads and may collect device identifiers for ad targeting, personalization, attribution, and reporting.
- Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Data Practices: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
Exports
If you export a report, the file is created locally on your device and shared by you. We do not receive a copy.
Deleting your data
All data stays on your device. You can remove it by clearing the app data in your device settings or uninstalling the app.
What Mamio does not do
Mamio has no user accounts, no login system, and no personal identification layer. Mamio does not directly profile users across apps or services. Any ad targeting, personalization, or tracking connected to the free version is handled by Google AdMob, not by Mamio.
