Support

Papilio is a private diary for Hashimoto's thyroiditis: it records your daily symptoms, lab results and levothyroxine dose history on one timeline. It does not interpret what you enter, and it is not a medical device — it does not provide medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment advice.

Common questions

My lab uses different units than the app expects. What do I do?

Enter the result in whatever unit your lab actually printed — the unit selector is always visible and never hidden. Papilio stores the value in that exact unit permanently and never converts it on save. If you want to compare results from labs that report differently, choose a separate display unit in Settings; the value you originally entered stays visible too.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

Go to Settings → Export records on your old phone and save a JSON export. On your new phone, install Papilio and use Settings → Restore a backup to load that file — you'll be asked whether to merge it with anything already on the device or replace it entirely.

How do I cancel Papilio Pro?

Papilio Pro is billed through the App Store. Manage or cancel it from your device's Apple ID subscription settings — Papilio cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the current period ends.

I restored my purchase and Pro is still off.

Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you subscribed with, then open Settings → Papilio Pro → Restore purchases in the app. If it still doesn't unlock, email us with your device and app version and we'll help you track it down.

Can I use Papilio for something other than Hashimoto's?

Papilio is built around the markers and workflow relevant to Hashimoto's thyroiditis — TSH, fT4, fT3, thyroid antibodies, ferritin, vitamin D, B12, levothyroxine dosing, and a daily symptom diary. It may be useful for other thyroid conditions, but it is not designed or tested for anything outside thyroid tracking, and it does not provide medical advice for any condition.

Does Papilio need an internet connection?

No. Recording, editing, exporting, restoring and viewing your timeline all work fully offline. A subscribed device briefly contacts our subscription provider to confirm Papilio Pro status — see the privacy policy for exactly what that involves.

How do I delete everything?

Go to Settings → Delete all data to permanently remove every entry, lab result, dose change and note from your device. Export a copy first if you want to keep one. Deleting the app itself removes the database along with it.

Where can I download the app?

Papilio for iOS is coming soon to the App Store. This page will be updated with the download link as soon as it's live.
